Dom Kultury Śródmieście Earns Accreditation in the Erasmus+ Program in the Adult Education Sector for 2024–2027

Dom Kultury Śródmieście (DKŚ) has been accredited in the Erasmus+ program in the Adult Education sector for the years 2024–2027 (Accreditation Number: 2023-1-PL01-KA120-ADU-000193978). This accreditation confirms that DKŚ has presented a plan to implement high-quality mobility activities for DKŚ staff and adult learners. Accreditation ensures regular funding for activities related to the program's implementation.

Mobility for learners and staff in adult education
The program is designed for adults seeking to improve their qualifications and professional competencies through participation in international courses, training, workshops, and experience exchanges. The support covers a wide range of activities, including individual and group mobility for adult learners, job shadowing, professional development courses for staff, invited experts, and other activities.

Key objectives of DKŚ in the Erasmus+ Program:
•    Promoting ecological awareness and enhancing the competencies of adult learners at DKŚ to actively participate in civic society.
•    Facilitating educational mobility for disadvantaged groups to ensure equal access to international educational opportunities.
•    Strengthening staff competencies in best practices, trends, and innovative solutions in education, aiming to expand DKŚ's audience to include new groups, particularly foreign residents.

These objectives will be implemented in line with the Erasmus Quality Standards, which include:
•    Inclusion and diversity: Promoting equal opportunities and access, social inclusion, diversity, and fairness across all program activities.
•    Digital education: Supporting individuals of all ages in acquiring digital skills and competencies. Building capacity and critical understanding on how to exploit the opportunities offered by digital technologies for teaching and learning in educational institutions.
•    Environment and fight against climate change: Providing learners of all ages with opportunities to gain knowledge about the climate crisis and sustainable development.
•    Participation in democratic life, common values, and civic engagement: Supporting active citizenship and ethics in lifelong learning, fostering the development of social and intercultural competencies, critical thinking, and media literacy skills.
