Soloduotrio

Pick a section:

Soloduotrio is a unique event on the Warsaw dance scene. It is an opportunity to present small dance forms prepared by soloists, duets and trios in front of a wider audience and to confront young dancers and their choreography with the opinions of jurors.

The competition is open to amateur dancers dancing solo, duet or trio and takes place in three age groups: 13-15 years; 16-20 years; 21–26 years.

The choreographies submitted may last a maximum of 4 minutes, and the dance should be in the form of a story (dance etude). Participants can interpret a selected musical theme using different dance techniques, with the exception of folk dance, ballroom dancing, steppe and cheerleading performances.

  • The competition is organized by the Śródmieście Cultural Center in Warsaw
  • for more info please contact the project coordinator Izabela Borkowska – soloduotrio@dks.art.pl

So far, there have been five editions of the competition with the total number of 450 dancers.

You are welcome to participate!
